Remember that discretion about who gets into each country and how long they are allowed to stay is up to the discretion of the individual border agent doing the interview. In most cases, border agents want to see that you have booked accommodation and a return ticket out of the country.
The following list is applicable for citizens of the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, and the European Union.
Cuba:
- Tourist Travel Prohibited for US Citizens
- Tourist Card Required (Easily Obtained From Airline With Purchase) for Canada (up to 90 days’ stay), United Kingdom (up to 30 days), and European Union (up to 30 days)
- Negative PCR test OR proof of vaccination is required
- Visa-Free Entry
- USA Citizens: Up to 30 days upon arrival, extendable to 90 days
- Canadian Citizens: Up to 90 days upon arrival
- British Citizens: Up to 30 days upon arrival, extendable to 120 days
- EU Citizens: 90 Days Upon Arrival
- No new restrictions on entry
Guadeloupe:
- Visa-Free Entry
- Up to 90 days granted upon arrival (Unlimited for EU citizens)
- All visitors must present multiple negative tests and a “sworn statement” that they have not had any contact with the virus
- “Unvaccinated” visitors must present a “compelling reason” for entering Guadeloupe and quarantine for 7 days
Haiti:
- Visa-Free Entry
- Up to 90 days granted upon arrival
- Negative test is required
Martinique:
- Visa-Free Entry
- Up to 90 days granted upon arrival (Unlimited for EU citizens)
- “Unvaccinated” visitors must present a “compelling reason” for entering Martinique & quarantine for 7 days, subject to tests
Puerto Rico:
- Visa-Free Entry
- ETSA Required for non-US/Canadian citizens
- US citizens can move here without restriction
- Canadian citizens: Up to 180 days granted upon arrival
- British citizens: Up to 90 days granted upon arrival
- EU Citizens: Up to 90 days granted upon arrival
- “Unvaccinated” non-US citizens will not be permitted to enter Puerto Rico
- Negative test is required for vaccinated non-US citizens and US citizens arriving on international flights
Saint-Barthelemy:
- Visa-Free Entry
- Up to 90 days granted upon arrival (Unlimited for EU citizens)
- “Unvaccinated” visitors must present negative test and quarantine for 7 days
- Vaccinated visitors must present negative test
Saint-Martin:
- Visa-Free Entry
- Up to 90 days granted upon arrival (Unlimited for EU citizens)
- “Unvaccinated” visitors from USA and Canada must present negative test
- Vaccinated visitors and unvaccinated visitors from “low-risk countries” can enter without restriction
