Hola Amigos!
You may have noticed some recent changes here at My Latin Life.
It’s surprising to think that this blog was started in 2014. Undoubtedly, a lot has changed in the past 8 years.
More and more people are working online, and the ‘digital nomad’ lifestyle has become mainstream.
Back in the early 2010s, My Latin Life was one of the pioneers. We were one of the first websites to provide boots-on-the-ground information (and inspiration) for a gringo living in Latin America. Maybe you were one of the original readers who soaked up every word – gleaning the do’s and dont’s of traveling to Latin America and learning about the differences between the various countries.
We wanted to write this article to address our original fanbase. We don’t want to turn our backs on the people and the fans that got us here.
But we also need to evolve.
Over the years we’ve received 1000s of touching messages about how we’ve changes peoples lives and inspired them to seek a better lifestyle in cheerful, sun-soaked Latin America.
Going forward we will focus on all aspects of living in Latin America, including advanced topics like second citizenship, international tax, and frontier investing. It’s only going to get better from here, amigos.
We also just launched our podcast, featuring none other than the original founder Vance. If you are a long-time reader of the site, definitely check out the pod!
